2001 Ducati MH900E  – $27,000

SELLER SAYS: For sale is a 2001 Ducati MH900E with 23,000kms. Ducati MH900E is a limited edition model, 2000 were produced, this one being 925 of 2000. Very rare and unique, I have not seen another on the road since I’ve had it. I am the second owner since 2014, the bike was originally sold to Japan and brought to Australia by the first owner under Personal Import. This bike was daily ridden for the first 2-3 years and improvements have been made to enhance the riding experience. Since then this bike has been in my car detailing showroom, once a month the bike is detailed, battery charged and started. I bought this bike at 16,000kms and I deliberately choose it because I didn’t want a low kms bike that had to save the kms and couldn’t take out on long rides. I hope the new owner would feel the same way and ride this bike without hesitation. Last time this bike was out on a big ride was the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride in 2018. Major service including valve and timing belts were done 50kms ago in September 18 by Moto Tecnica, the cost was $2,100. (Receipt will be provided). Engine revs very freely and alive, very responsive throttle. First thing I added tot this bike is a Staintune Exhaust Mufflers, original mufflers included. BST Carbon Front Wheel significantly lightens the front end, it feels feather light when cornering and changing directions, its a very enjoyable experience riding an older bike that feels this light and agile. Front and rear suspension have been completely re-built by Shock Treatment to suit a 85kg rider. The cost was $1,300. Adjustable levers to suit your individual hand size and preference. Tyres are Pirelli Rosso Corsa with 90-95% treads. Also included in the sale are 2 Original Keys, MH900E Commemorative Plaque, MH900E T-Shirt with Production Number and Ducati Rear Stand.  My original plan was to always keep this bike, however with lower back pain I am no longer able to even ride a short distance. I am also a Rolex enthusiasts and will do part trade. Another comparable motorcycle in my opinion is the Paul Smart, it has better Ohlins suspension and a larger engine, however because of its dual sided swing arm, I felt it just doesn’t have that true Ducati DNA. Located in Sydney North Shore near Artarmon, inspections welcome 7 days. There are minor issues with the gauge cluster, (1) the LED light behind the digital speedometer no longer lights up and (2) the trip display buttons are not responsive.  Contact Frank on 0490 154 330 (Sydney, NSW)
