1969 Honda CB750 sandcast – $65,000 SOLD

SELLER SAYS: 1969 Honda CB750K0 for sale. An absolutely superbly restored early VIN sandcast which has a minimum of reproduction parts. This machine was originally found in Colorado in early 2000 and sat in my collection unrestored for 2 decades. People who know my restorations comment on the accuracy and attention to detail I provide. This machine is a genuine Left Horn early VIN and has the original very early parts which include the no fluid level master cylinder, smooth ferrule oil lines, narrow horn top triple clamp, correct early casting carbs, correct air box rubbers, very early brake pedal, and other early sandcast unique items. Even the instruments have been kept as original. The aim was not just a restoration, but a true and accurate early model representative rebuild. The only reproduction items used include a red foam Yamiya seat, a Yamiya 2 hole airbox and not just a set of Yamiya no-number pipes but the Yamiya early production Lotus Root exhausts which are rare enough. The wheels, mudguards and other chrome items have been expertly re-chromed, the spokes and nipples are NOS early Honda originals. The engine has been fully rebuilt using NOS Honda internals and not just a hit-and-miss rebuild. Everything has been replaced including bearings, cam and primary chains, clutch plates, head work done by Gilberts head works, and engine assembly by Rob Snell. This and my other recently restored sandcast have been acclaimed by the sandcast fraternity as just superb and I believe this example is stunning. The buyer will not be disappointed. Comes complete with a full original tool kit and owners manual. The photos tell the story and anything else needed will be provided to the prospective collector.
